  • What kind of Spaces offerings can I/my partner expect in the future?

In the short-term, the Spaces team will offer dynamic virtual events and education. When in-person events are once again allowed, we will offer access to production tools and equipment via existing in-person programs, such as Pop-Ups and Next-Up. The pop-up program will be customized to meet the needs of local partner communities, ranging from workshops to production offerings to lunch series, co-working, etc.
  • Will there be pop-ups that I/my partner can attend in cities outside of where the Spaces locations?

Yes, when we’re able to have in-person events again, we’ll aim to host at least one in-person event or pop-up a year in cities where many of our partners are located. We’re also continuously looking at new ways to reach our creators and provide as many resources as possible. We’ll share more information with teams once the pop-up programs and locations are decided.
  • What does this mean for partners who have used Spaces in the past for production?

This means that they will not be able to access Spaces locations since they have permanently closed. Since our shift to digital events last year, we have been able to reach more partners who previously would not have had access to Spaces locations. However, we will continue to have production workshops virtually until we can provide more robust offerings when in-person events are safe again.
  • How can I keep track of the latest events and workshops?

We are always offering experiences that will help you grow, meet others in the community, and just stay inspired. The best way to stay up-to-date is to sign-up for our newsletter where we always send the latest opportunities available. You can also visit your city's page to check out the events calendar for upcoming events and workshops.
  • How often is the newsletter sent?

We prefer not to clog your inbox, so we send our newsletter whenever we have events, workshops or production programs that you need to know about. This is usually once a month, but if it’s a busy month you could hear from us twice.
  • What is a Pop-up?

Pop-up Spaces closely resemble our permanent Spaces providing you with opportunities to create content and attend platform and production workshops. We also will often provide a community lounge space for Coworking or socialising with other creators and artists visiting. You can also always expect other unique opportunities that are specific to the YouTube community of the country we are visiting.
  • How can I attend a Pop-up?

If you're eligible to attend a Pop-up Space, you should have either an email invite from a partner manager or a notification within the Creator Studio.
  • Who is eligible to apply/attend?

Typically creators with at least 10,000 subscribers and no strikes on their channel are eligible, and will have received an invite from their YouTube partner manager.
  • Are all creators with 10,000 subscribers invited?

Typically creators with at least 10,000 subscribers and no strikes on their channel are eligible, and will have received an invite from their YouTube partner manager.
  • What are the selection criteria?

As long as you meet the above criteria, space is made available for you. If you know of a Pop-up Space coming to your city, please reach out to your partner manager to make sure they get you all the latest info.
  • What would a typical agenda for a Pop up be?

We work closely with the local community and our own YouTube teammates working in those cities to customize each Pop-up experience, but you can usually epxect workshops that cover topics such as the YouTube platform, optimising you career with YouTube, as well as production and post production techniques.
  • Where can I find the schedule for a Pop-up I was invited to?

You should be able to see all the available sessions to attend in the invitation you received from your Partner Manager.
  • Can a Pop-up Space come to my city?

We're' always thinking about where to go next. We pay close attention to communities that are highly engaged and growing quickly - if that describes you and your community let us know here.

Our Pop-up Spaces, like all YouTube Spaces, are free to use and attend.
